Mangroves Tour

The Terrabá-Sierpe National Wetland is the largest wetland area in Costa Rica. It is formed by the two rivers Terrabá and Sierpe, with more than 26,779 hectares.

This mangrove tour offers the opportunity to observe the great natural beauty of different ecosystems and the great variety of species found in the area of the aquatic trails of the Sierpe River.

Among the species that can be found are: monkeys, snakes, crocodiles, alligators, birds (migratory, endemic, resident) and considerably more.

Duration: Three hour tour through the Sierpe estuary.

Tour includes: travel in comfortable boats (catamarans), adapted with new equipment, bilingual tour guide and drinks. (Parking available).

Recommendations: bring comfortable clothes, insect repellent, water and sunscreen.
